  i REread matthew 24 and decided that there is only one sign. In matthew 24:30. in answer to matthew 24:3.

  Christ didn't tell you what it was because you didnt need to know as the angels gather you.

  1.music lessons for kids.

  learning to read music and play an instrument.. 2.memory training and math strategies in schools.

  December 15th WT gives example of sister who quit her job so she could go to an convention.

  i was beyond mad when i heard this.

  it is on page 30 of the wt.. it says "a pioneer named roxana is one who has seen how jehovah provides for his people.

  when she asked her employer for permission to take some days off to attend one of our conventions, he angrily retorted that if she went, he would fire her.

  One of my relatives couldn't get the time off from his job to attend the convention, he had been on welfare for along time before getting the job.

  He gave up his job and attended all three days of the convention and returned to the welfare system for quite awhile.

  Meanwhile in next kingdom hall they appointed an Elder who not only missed half the convention because of his job but also half the meetings. I asked an Elder about this appointment. They said they needed him they only had eight and there was at least 75-100 publishers.

  when reading all of the variety of toppics on this site it appears by the lack of responses that some dont really care about your subject?

  or they just cant find the word to say, or they mosly like reading but not commenting.

  and some subjects ive read that have had many comments compared to others are just plane stupid as hell.

  How could Jesus be ruling the world since 1914 yet Satan is the ruler of the world?

  july 2011 awake (p.5) says: the ruler of this world.

  the bible states: the whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one.

  (john 12:31; 1 john 5:19) that wicked one is satan the devil, a powerful spirit creature who is described as the ruler of the authority of the air.

  "J.F. Rutherford, who at this time took the lead in the worldwide preaching work, gave Scriptural proof that the modern-day other sheep are identical with that great crowd of Revelation 7:9. At the climax of this talk, the speaker asked: "Will all those who have the hope of living forever on the earth please stand?" As a large part of the audience stood up, the speaker declared: "Behold! The great multitude!" "

  This great multitude believed and taught and preached Christ invisible return in 1874 to be part of that great crowd of survivors.

  That was in 1935 I think the great multitude of the great multitude is dead.

  I think it's interesting that up until 1943 you would have had to believe and teach that Christ had an invisible presence from 1874 in order to recieve your "white robe"

  You would be judged on whether you taught this falsehood or not. You must.

  In the Wt August 15th page 507 1974

  "Hence, when C.T.Russell began publishing a new religious magazine in July 1874, it was called "Zion's Watch Tower and Herald of Christ's presence."

  "This invisible presence was expected to continue until the Gentile Times ended in 1914, when the Gentile nations would be destroyed and the remnant of the "chaste virgins" class would be glorified with their Bridegroom in heaven by death and resurrection to live by the spirit."

  In the footnote,

  "In 1943 the Watch Tower Society's book "The Truth Shall Make You Free" did away with the nonexistent extra 100 years in the period of the Judges and place the end of 6,000 years of man's existence in the 1970's. It also fixed the beginning of Christ's presence , not in 1874, but in 1914 C.E.

  It seems that it wasn't until 1943 that they realised they hadn't seen the "Sign" of Christ's presence before 1914.

  In 1993/4 they realised they hadn't seen the "Sign" of Matthew 24:30 although for years they had claimed they had.

  It would seem to me all rather unreliable as to what they have seen and what they haven't.

  How active are you?

  they say that as a society, we are all getting fatter and fatter.

  so i ask, how active are you?

  if you took a snap shot of the last five days, can you find moments of exercise or doing something besides sitting in front of the computer, lifting a remote or fork, or perhaps walking to get the mail?
